How ETIKA started
The ETIKA idea started with Veronica Rubio and Federica Suess, who agreed that the sustainability industry uses too many phrases that are often not understood, relies too much on idealistic concepts and ignores the realities of companies or employees in production not sufficiently taken into account. We wanted to change that.

Federica brings 10 years of experience designing sustainable supply chains and sustainability strategies.

She is a trained social auditor and has audited productions in China and Germany.

Federica designed 4 training courses for the SGS Academy in Hamburg and trained a total of around 250 participants on sustainability topics.

She works closely with procurement teams and has conducted around 75 buyer workshops. moderated.

She has supported around 50 companies in setting up sustainability strategies and enforcing human rights in the form of concept developments, checklists and training courses.
Veronica Rubio
Expert in sustainable supply chains
Veronica is a trained lawyer and has 20 years of experience in designing sustainable supply chains with a focus on food supply chains.
She was instrumental in the development of the new amfori BSCI audit standards system, which thousands of companies use today.
She has extensive experience in developing supplier codes of conduct and monitoring them through social audit programs.
