Our Mission Statement
Our vision is for all companies to include social and environmental aspects in their decisions. We envision company representatives being trained and sensitive to the impact they can have on people and the plant and for them to make the best possible choice, because they have the knowledge and skills to do so.
We want to empower companies to be more sustainable by offering practical scripts, strategies and guidelines.
We believe that the little things matter a lot and that sustainability advice or practices are too complicated, too full of jargon and sometimes dogmatism at the moment.
We therefore want to liberate CSR from these aspects and envision a business world where people hear corporate sustainability and they feel that it is something useful, important and easy to implement. And that in includes actions that are trying to make the world a better place within the existing constraints that businesses have
ETIKA was started in June 2020, when Veronica Rubio and Federica Suess met again after many years working alongside in the same field. They had a common wish to see simpler language and a more practical, hands-on approach to CSR. Veronica has been advising ETIKA and supporting projects with her vast experience and expertise.
Federica works in corporate sustainability since 2011. She started as a sustainability manager at DEPOT in Frankfurt and then moved to Hamburg, to work for the certification and audit company SGS.
